Potamogeton praelongus (Long Stalked Pondweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Potamogetonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Greenland, The Contiguous United States, Alaska, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 1.4 m.
