Pharus latifolius (Broad Stalk Grass) is a species of shrub in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Espirito Santo, The Neotropics, Bahia, Acre (Brazil), Puerto Rico, Amazônia, Mata Atlântica, Caatinga, and Minas Gerais. They have simple, broad leaves.
