Paspalum distichum (Buffalo Quick Paspalum) is a species of perennial grass in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pampa, Pará, U.S. Virgin Islands, Western North America, Puerto Rico, United States, SãO Paulo, The Contiguous United States, Sergipe, Mata Atlântica, Bahia, Cerrado, Eastern North America, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, Amazônia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Paraná, Pantanal, Minas Gerais, and Pernambuco. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Individuals can grow to 0.28 m.
