Description

Glabrous shrub or tree, to 15 m. Leaves: lamina 7- 18 cm long, elliptic, oblong or obovate, yellow-green; base cuneate; apex obtuse or shortly acuminate. Inflorescences supra-axillary, compact, several flowered. Peduncle stout, flattened, thickened above. Calyx tube 0.7-1.5 mm. Corolla sweet-scented. Style bearing 2 stigma lobes. Fruit 5-6 mm long, sessile.
