Simira rubescens is a species of tree in the family Rubiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Amapá, Amazônia, Maranhao, Tocantins, Acre (Brazil), Mato Grosso, RondôNia, and Pará. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 20 m.
