Galanthus nivalis (Bucaneve) is a species of perennial herb in the family Amaryllidaceae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. Flowers are visited by Osmia cornuta, Honey bee, Common Eastern Bumblebee, and Marmalade hoverfly.
