Sagittaria guayanensis (Guyanese Arrowhead) is a species of perennial herb in the family Alismataceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Rio Grande Do Norte, Roraima, Minas Gerais, Caatinga, Pernambuco, AmazôNia, Pará, Alagoas, Piauí, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Acre (Brazil), Ceará, Sergipe, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, Maranhao, Cerrado, Tocantins, Mato Grosso, and GoiáS. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Flower Flies, Toxomerus floralis, Dialictus, and Pereirapis.
