Distribution: Cuba, Isla de la Juventud Amphisbaena cubana cubana: eastern and central Cuba; Isla de la Juventud.
Type locality: œCuba Amphisbaena cubana barbouri (HOLOTYPE MCZ 12136): western Cuba (ranges given are probably not entirely correct; see Schwartz and Henderson, 1988).

The Cuban worm lizard (Amphisbaena cubana) is a worm lizard species in the family Amphisbaenidae. It is endemic to Cuba.
