Viverricula indica (Lesser Oriental Civet) is a species of mammals in the family viverrids. They are listed in cites appendix iii. They are native to Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Nepal, China, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, and Asia. They are solitary, nocturnal omnivores.
