Hemitragus jayakari (Arabian Tahr) is a species of mammals in the family Bovidae. They are native to the Palearctic. They are solitary, diurnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 168 months and can grow to 1075 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care). They rely on running to move around.
