Saiga tatarica (Mongolian Saiga) is a species of mammals in the family Bovidae. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix ii. They are native to the Palearctic. They are diurnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 144 months and can grow to 1160 mm. They rely on running to move around.
