Nomascus leucogenys (White Cheeked Gibbon) is a species of primates in the family gibbons. They are listed as critically endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to Asia. They are diurnal herbivores. Individuals can grow to 545 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (paternal care and female provides care).
