Armillaria sinapina is a species of mushroom in the family Physalacriaceae. A plant pathogenic fungus, it causes Armillaria root disease, and has been found on a variety of tree hosts in Alaska.[1] The mycelium of the fungus is bioluminescent.[2]

Armillaria sinapina est une espèce de champignons de la famille des Physalacriaceae. C'est un champignon pathogène qui cause des maladies racinaires pour certains arbres et a été trouvé sur trois hôtes en Alaska (Saule, Bouleau, Épicéa)[2]. Au Québec, il a été repéré sur Acer saccharum[3]. Il est présent également au Japon[4].

Son mycelium est bioluminescent[5].
