Caprolagus hispidus (Assam Rabbit) is a species of mammals in the family Leporidae. They are listed as endangered by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to the Palearctic. They are solitary, nocturnal herbivores. Individuals can grow to 460.23 mm. Reproduction is viviparous. They have parental care (female provides care and paternal care). They rely on running to move around.
