Trochocyathus (Trochocyathus) mediterraneus Zibrowius 1980

Trochocyathus mediterraneus is a species of cnidarians in the family caryophylliid corals. This species is extinct. They are listed in cites appendix ii. Dead Trochocyathus mediterraneus form shallow marine sediments. They have alternation of generations, asexual reproduction, and sexual reproduction. They are sessile animals.
