Hypoxis decumbens (Coquí) is a species of perennial herb in the family Hypoxidaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Ceará, SãO Paulo, ParaíBa, Santa Catarina, Pantanal, RondôNia, Rio Grande Do Sul, Sergipe, Bahia, Cerrado, Espirito Santo, Amapá, Pernambuco, Maranhao, Rio Grande Do Norte, Tocantins, Paraná, Amazônia, GoiáS, Puerto Rico, Roraima, Mata Atlântica, Alagoas, Distrito Federal, Pará, Piauí, Minas Gerais, Pampa, Mato Grosso, U.S. Virgin Islands, Rio De Janeiro, Caatinga, Mato Grosso Do Sul, and Acre (Brazil). They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 0.062 m.
