Aloe rulkensii 2

Image of Aloe rulkensii T. A. McCoy & O. J. Baptista

Description:

Multi-stemmed at the base (where it roots in the tiny pockets of substrate, with grasses and mosses), but with un-branched very long pendulous stems, up to almost 2 meters long. Inflorescences emerge laterally from the leaves. Fire never touches this habitat as can be seen from the several generations of old inflorescence-rests along the leafy part of the stem.
