Invading at the lower right is the noxious weed Euphorbia myrsinites (to the left of which is the native buckwheat Eriogonum brevicaule var brevicaule.Oct. 2, 2008, lower Millcreek Canyon, Salt Lake County, Utah, approx. 5,350 ft. elev.
