2011-04-16 Lower Austria, district Wien-Umgebung (near road; 320 msm Quadrant 7862/1).Seedling.German name: Drsen-SpringkrautSeedlings of Impatiens glandulifera are big and 'plump', of darker colour than both its cousins; the first leaves (the cotyledons) are pretty much round, and of an oval shape are their first 'true' leaves - but still significantly different, on first sight really if you know them both, from I. noli-tangere.Please compare general comments on Impatiens seedlings.
