Physical description ( Inglês )

fornecido por INOTAXA archive
Antennæ unicolorous, yellow, scape bisinuate, first joint of the funiculus twice as long as the second. Rostrum quite short, broader at the tip; eyes round, convex, placed as near to the insertion of the antennæ as to the front of the thorax. The latter subcylindric, not longer than broad, very slightly rounded at the sides in the middle, the sculpture obscured by the squamosity, which, however, is not dense. Scutellum not distinct. Elytra convex, rising suddenly from the base of the thorax, their base not wider than the base of the thorax, but becoming rapidly broader, much narrowed towards the apex, so as to be acuminate behind; with series of coarse punctures, and clothed with a white squamosity distributed vaguely into spots, and also set with erect truncate setæ. Under surface not squamose; second, third, and fourth ventral plates armed with erect, pallid, rigid setæ or bristles. Three specimens.
