Perotrochus lucaya, common name the Lucayan slit shell, is a species of large sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Pleurotomariidae, the slit snails.[2][3]
The length of the shell varies between 25 mm and 60 mm.
This species occurs in the Caribbean Sea off Venezuela and in the Atlantic Ocean off the Bahamas at depths between 275 m and 427 m.

Perotrochus lucaya is een slakkensoort uit de familie van de Pleurotomariidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1965 door Bayer.

Perotrochus lucaya possui concha em forma de turbante, chegando a até 6 centímetros. Coloração branca a creme, com estrias castanhas ou alaranjadas. Interior da abertura, lábio interno e área umbilical, fortemente nacarados.[2][3]
São encontrados em águas profundas do oeste do oceano Atlântico (Venezuela, Bahamas, Mar do Caribe).[2][3]
