General Description

fornecido por University of Alberta Museums
Wingspan around 30 mm. Forewings dark grayish fuscous, hindwings lighter. A checkered terminal line is present, especially on the forewings above. The genitalia are very similar to those of Saucrobotys futilalis (Munroe 1976). Similar to S. futilalis but the forewings of the latter are light brown in color and the checkered terminal line is not as obvious. Also similar to Mutuuraia mysippusalis but the latter has a more acute apex of the forewing and lacks a checkered terminal line.
