Anumeta straminea Bang-Haas 1906

Anumeta straminea is a moth of the family Erebidae first described by Andreas Bang-Haas in 1906. It is found from the Sahara and the Arabian Desert to Bahrain and northern Oman. Furthermore, it is found in the Arava Valley and the Dead Sea area of Israel.

There are two generations per year in Africa and one in the Middle East. Adults are on wing from December to March.

The larvae feed on Calligonum species.

Anumeta straminea is een vlinder uit de familie spinneruilen (Erebidae). De wetenschappelijke naam is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1900 door Bang-Haas.

De soort komt voor in tropisch Afrika.

Anumeta straminea^[1] là một loài bướm đêm thuộc họ Erebidae. Nó được tìm thấy ở Sahara và sa mạc Arabian tới Bahrain và miền bắc Oman. Furthermore, nó được tìm thấy ở thung lũng Arava và vùng Biển Chết của Israel.

Có hai lứa trưởng thành một năm in Africa và one in the Middle East. Con trưởng thành bay từ tháng 12 đến tháng 3.
