Balacra batesi is a moth of the family Erebidae. It was described by Herbert Druce in 1910. It is found in Angola, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Ghana, Nigeria and Uganda.[1]

Balacra batesi is een vlinder uit de familie spinneruilen (Erebidae), onderfamilie beervlinders (Arctiinae). De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1910 door Druce.
Deze nachtvlinder komt voor in tropisch Afrika.
