Yucatan Blunthead Snake (Imantodes tenuissimus)Merida, Yucatan, MexicoFound this while exploring a depression with a friend. The place was very hard to explore, and when we were about to start going back, I spotted this snake just staying still and posing on a plant :)

Yucatan Snail-eater (Sibon sanniola)Merida, Yucatan, MexicoAfter a rainstorm, I decided to go out and see if I could find a salamander. I didn't find any amphibian at all, but to my surprise, found this one under a rock without expecting it at all! It was very small and beautiful. Completely inoffensive, it didn't try to bite at all, and I must admit, I did annoyed him/her a little bit with the camera :P
