- Pot arribar a fer 20 cm de llargària màxima (normalment, en fa 14).[6][7]
Hàbitat
És un peix marí, demersal i de clima subtropical que viu fins als 91 m de fondària.[6][8]
Distribució geogràfica
Es troba al Pacífic oriental: des de Seal Rock (Oregon, els Estats Units) fins a les costes centrals de la Baixa Califòrnia (Mèxic).[9][6][10]
Observacions
És inofensiu per als humans.[6]

The spotfin surfperch (Hyperprosopon anale) is a species of ray-finned fish from the surfperch family Embiotocidae. It occurs along the western coast of North AMerica from Oregon to Baja California where it occurs in waters down to 101 metres (331 ft). It is viviparous and grows to a total length of 20 centimetres (7.9 in).
