Les Epialtidae sont une famille de crabes. Elle comprend près de 400 espèces actuelles et une vingtaine de fossiles dans 85 genres dont cinq fossiles.

Epialtidae, porodica rakova deseteronožaca iz natporodice Majoidea. Postoje tri potporodice^[1], a ime je došlo po rodu Epialtus H. Milne Edwards, 1834.

Epialtidae, is een familie van de infraorde krabben (Brachyura). Tot deze familie behoort onder andere de gebochelde spinkrab, de enige soort uit deze groep die kan voorkomen voor de Belgische en Nederlandse kust.

Systematiek

De Epialtidae was vroeger een onderfamilie van de Majidae. De Epialtidae worden in drie onderfamilies verdeeld: ^[2]
