Conostoma – rodzaj ptaka z rodziny ogoniatek (Paradoxornithidae).

Rodzaj obejmuje gatunki występujące od Himalajów do Chin^[4].

Długość ciała 20–28,5 cm; masa ciała 31,5–110 g^[5].

Conostoma: gr. κωνος kōnos „stożek”; στομα stoma, στοματος stomatos „usta”^[6].
Cholornis: gr. χωλος khōlos „wadliwy”; ορνις ornis, ορνιθος ornithos „ptak”^[7]. Gatunek typowy: Cholornis paradoxus J. Verreaux, 1871.
