Painteria revoluta (Rose) Britton & Rose
Pithecolobium revolutum Rose, Contr. U. S. Nat. Herb. 10: 96. 1906.
A low shrub, the twigs short and densely pubescent. Leaves small; stipules spinescent, short; petiole 2-4 mm. long, pubescent; pinnae 1 pair; leaflets 3-5 pairs, linear, pubescent, obtuse, 2 mm. long, the margins strongly revolute; peduncle wanting; legume curved, 5-7 era. long, 10-12 mm. broad, pubescent, cimeate at base.
Type locality: Near Higuerillas, Queretaro. Distribution: Known only from the type locality.
