Cryptothylax greshoffii is a species of frogs in the family Hyperoliidae. It is found in Angola, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and possibly Republic of the Congo. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, rivers, swamps, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marshes, rural gardens, heavily degraded former forests, and aquaculture ponds. Cryptothylax greshoffii and “Hyperolius” robustus have a phylogenetic relatationship^[2]

Cryptothylax greshoffii es una especie de anfibios de la familia Hyperoliidae.

Habita en Angola, Camerún, República Centroafricana, República Democrática del Congo, Guinea Ecuatorial, Gabón y posiblemente República del Congo.

Su hábitat natural incluye bosques tropicales o subtropicales secos y a baja altitud, zonas secas de arbustos, ríos, pantanos, lagos de agua dulce, marismas de agua dulce, corrientes intermitentes de agua dulce, jardines rurales, zonas previamente boscosas ahora degradadas y estanques.

Cryptothylax greshoffii est une espèce d'amphibiens de la famille des Hyperoliidae^[1].

Répartition

Cette espèce est endémique du centre-Ouest de l'Afrique. Elle se rencontre :

• dans le sud-est du Cameroun ;
• au Gabon ;
• en Guinée équatoriale ;
• dans le sud-ouest de la République centrafricaine ;
• dans l'est de la République démocratique du Congo ;
• dans l'extrême Nord de l'Angola.

Sa présence est incertaine en République du Congo.

Étymologie

Cette espèce est nommée en l'honneur d'Anton Greshoff (1856-1905)^[2].
