Hypolycaena kadiskos, the scarce hairstreak, is a butterfly in the family Lycaenidae. The species was first described by Hamilton Herbert Druce in 1890. It is found in Ghana, southern Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda and north-western Tanzania.[2] The habitat consists of forests.

Hypolycaena kadiskos is een vlinder uit de familie van de Lycaenidae.[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1890 door Druce.
