Amblypodia silhetensis Hewitson 1862

Arhopala silhetensis, the Sylhet oakblue, (sometimes placed in Amblypodia)^[1] is a small butterfly found in India that belongs to the lycaenids or blues family. The species was first described by William Chapman Hewitson in 1862.

Range

The butterfly occurs in India from Sikkim onto north Myanmar, and, from Karens to south Myanmar. ^[2]

Status

The species is considered rare.^[2]

Amblypodia silhetensis is een vlinder uit de familie van de Lycaenidae.^[1] De wetenschappelijke naam van de soort is voor het eerst geldig gepubliceerd in 1862 door Hewitson.
