Abisara neavei Riley 1932

Abisara neavei, the Neave's Judy or Neave's banded Judy, is a butterfly in the family Riodinidae. It is found in Nigeria, Cameroon, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia.^[2] The habitat consists of primary and gallery forests, as well as the fringes of submontane forests.

The larvae feed on Maesa lanceolata.

Abisara neavei is een vlindersoort uit de familie van de prachtvlinders (Riodinidae), onderfamilie Nemeobiinae.

Abisara neavei werd in 1932 beschreven door Riley.^[1]

Abisara neavei é uma borboleta da família Riodinidae. Ela pode ser encontrada na Nigéria, Camarões, República Democrática do Congo, Uganda, Ruanda, Burundi, Quénia, Tanzânia e Zâmbia.^[2] O habitat natural desta borboleta localiza-se em florestas de galeria, bem como em florestas submontanas.

As larvas alimentam-se de Maesa lanceolata.
