Polites baracoa is a year-round resident in Florida ranging south to the Bahamas and Greater Antilles (Scott 1986). Habitats are subtropical and grassy areas. Host plants are grasses. There are multiple flights each year with the approximate flight time March.1-Nov.30 (Scott 1986).
