Sphaerotheca és un gènere de granotes de la família dels rànids que es troba a l'Índia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka i Nepal.

Sphaerotheca is a genus of true frogs. They can be found in South Asia. Molecular data suggest that they are closely related to Fejervarya, perhaps as a monophyletic group within a paraphyletic Fejervarya.^[1]

Sphaerotheca is een geslacht van kikkers uit de familie Dicroglossidae. De groep werd voor het eerst wetenschappelijk beschreven door Albert Carl Lewis Gotthilf Günther in 1859.^[1]

Er zijn 5 soorten die voorkomen in delen van Azië en voorkomen in de landen India, Nepal, Pakistan en Sri Lanka.^[2]
