Morfologia
- Fa 7 cm de llargària maxima.
- 12 radis tous a l'aleta dorsal i 8 a l'anal.[5][6]
Hàbitat i distribució geogràfica
És un peix d'aigua dolça, bentopelàgic, potamòdrom[7] i de clima tropical, el qual viu en rius de fons de grava[8] de l'Índia,[9][10][11] Birmània -el riu Irauadi[6]-,[12] Bangladesh,[13] el Nepal[14] i la Xina -Yunnan-).[15][2][3][5][16][17][18][19][20]
Observacions
És inofensiu per als humans.[5]

Schistura sikmaiensis is a species of ray-finned fish, a stone loach in the genus Schistura. It is a benthic species which is found in cool, fast flowing streams with gravelly beds. It is found in the Irrawaddy River in Yunnan, Manipur and in Myanmar, it has been reported in Bangladesh and elsewhere in India.
