Description

Small to medium tree, to 13 m. Stipules and stipels both present. Leaves with 3-7 pairs of leaflets plus a terminal leaflet; the new growth and petiolules noticeably reddish-brown. Inflorescence an erect spike. Flowers purple or mauve.
