2011-04-02 Burgenland, district Neusiedl/See (Spitzerberg, 240 msm Quadrant 7967/2).This plant is somehow irregular as the number of stamen, petals and sepals (German: Staubbltter, Kronbltter, Kelchbltter) varies greatly:Stamen there are usually 4 (split into halves almost down the whole length, thus seemingly 8) in the top flower but 5 (seemingly 10) in the sideways ones.Petals now there are the same number as stamen (so either 4 or 5).Sepals, on the other hand, there are only 2 in 4-petals-flowers but 3 in the 5-petals-flowers.This one here however is an irregular 6-stamen-flower (seemingly 12), of which even one seems to be split into three parts while another one seems not to be split (could have broken off though). Petals there are clearly 6, and sepals supposedly there should be 3 (but I didn't think of checking right there, and from this shot alone it's not entirely clear if this was so). German name: MoschuskrautID: Fischer & al., Exkursionsflora A/FL/SdT (2008 3rd)
