Proceratium croceum (Roger 1860)

Habitat: Dry-mesic to mesic oak woodland and forest. Nests in soil or in soft decomposed wood or red duff inside the base of a tree trunk or fallen log.

Natural History: Poorly known, thought to be like that of P. pergandei.
