Description

Perennial herb, growing from a short rhizome, cultivated as a garden ornamental. Stems longitudinally ribbed. Leaves mostly basal, linear to oblanceolate; lower leaves deeply lobed; upper leaves entire. Capitula solitary on long peduncles, bright yellow and showy with c. 8 large, three-lobed ray-florets. Fruits broadly winged.
