345091, Pilsley. Each bracket was some 35cm-40cm across. The fungus may be a Dryads Saddle, Polyporus squamosus, but knowing nothing about fungi it could just as well be called Mrs Smiths Secret, Ginicus Tonicus. Here's hoping someone will confirm or correct my more serious identification. In the meantime take a look at this page from the 'Notts Fungi Group' from where I made my identification:
