An opportunistic Bluegill tags along beside one of the Grass Carp as it forages over the bottom, waiting to see just what might turn up that would be worth eating. I imagine it reciprocates in some way; perhaps it makes sure the other fish don't make fun of the carp for being goofy looking.Morrison Springs Walton County Florida, USASeaLife DC1400
Crucian carp (Carassius carassius) is a native Belarusian fish species that previously had a wide distribution in Belarus. But nowadays, likewise all across Europe, it's being replaced by introduced goldfish (Carassius auratus) - an alien fish species brought from the Far East. As the result, now crucian carp is decreasing species with restricted range that is very likely to be included into the Red list.
