Abraliopsis hoylei (Pfeffer, 1884)

ORIGINAL REFERENCE.—Enoploteuthis hoylei Pfeffer, 1884:17, pl. 3: figs. 22, 22a, 22b.

DEPOSITION OF TYPES.—Holotype: ZMH (no longer extant), 29 mm ML, Mascarene Islands, Indian Ocean (purchased from specimen dealer).

Paratypes: None.

GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION.—Indian Ocean; Caribbean Sea (Nesis, 1975, as A. pfefferi hoylei).

COMMENTS.—The holotype was redescribed and was illustrated in Pfeffer (1912:153, pl. 17: figs. 1–9).
