Type locality: specimena nostra prope chico invenit Deppe. Very probably from El Chico (or Mineral El Chico) near Pachuca, Hidalgo, to where SMITH & TAYLOR 1950 restricted the type locality.

furcirostris: Puebla, CN Veracruz, possibly E Hidalgo.
