Description: Head and body white with black spots extending to dorsal, anal, and caudal fins, coalesced forming bands on cheeks. Juveniles white, dorsal with stripes 3-4 broad black, ventral with a row of black spots. Body depth 2.5-2.8 in SL. Dorsal fin 3rd to 5th spines longest. Caudal fin slightly rounded in juveniles, truncate in adults. (Ref. 90102)
