Pallid Snake Eel

Oviparous (Ref. 101776).

Inhabits soft bottoms. Occurs in bays and backwaters to offshore banks, less commonly to 180 m depth. The most common eel on Florida shrimp grounds. Rarely consumed (Ref. 3795).
