Medusa: marginal hollow tentacles numerous, in a simple row along exumbrella margin; tentacular bulbs tubular, adnate, with ocellus on short spur; four radial canals with numerous, short, blind lateral diverticula; ring canal with or without branched diverticula; gastric peduncle pronounced; manubrium prismatic with pendant sausage-shaped bearing the gonads; four crenulated oral lips with distinct nematocysts rows.
