Description: The bird was circling me along with several of his friends as a warning for coming too close to the nest. I stuck to the path, but the birds were nervous. So I had to move on quickly. Description: The Pratincole was repeatedly attacked by a jealous Drongo which didn't let the Pratincole relax in peace. After a while, the Pratincole just chased away the Drongo. The drongoes are seen chasing away a lot of raptors and other birds and many photographers think there are too many of them in the area! Thanks in advance for your views / comments. Much Appreciated. Description: I found my favourite / preferred mode of photography - sitting on the edge of a lake and spending hours shooting birds. Not only I could gain insight into the birds life, but also enjoy the shoot and the weather! Have to wait till winter again though. Many thanks in advance for your views and feedback. Description: A one-legged stance by a bird indicates a comfortable pose. And this bird was standing on the driving path. So I stopped, got down from the vehicle, lay flat on the ground and took a number of shots. And it was cool all the while. But when I turned around a bit too fast to shoot 4 plover chicks nearby, it flew away. Lesson learnt - move slowly with birds nearby or we end up scaring them.
