Cliona cf. celata, Morlaix (Brittany) -38 meters The name "Cliona celata" presently comprises more than one species and requires more taxonomic work. Different celata-like species are difficult to distinguish and molecular analyses are required, identification from a photo is presently not possible. The type location is the Firth of Forth in Scotland. The holotype may be lost.
