Diagnosis. Solitary, turbinate to cylindrical, fixed. Wall epithecal but thickened internally by stereome. Septa not always arranged hexamerally. Paliform lobes opposite larger septa. Columella well developed, papillose.
Type-species: Gardineria hawaiiensis Vaughan, 1907, by original designation."
